S’pore first-ever Hot Air Balloon Ride Attraction by Ballons du Monde lifting off at Marina Bay soon

A new hot air balloon ride will be lifting off at the Marina Bay area soon

A thrilling new experience is coming to Marina Bay.

Ballons Du Monde

Believe it or not, the first-ever Hot Air Balloon ride will be lifting off somewhere in Marina Bay area really soon.

If you have visited Marina Bay Sands recently, you would have spotted them testing out the hot air balloons at the giant open area nearby known as the Bayfront Event Space.

There’s little information on the organisation behind the new attraction other than the brand Ballons du Monde which means “World Balloons” in French.

A quick dig on their official website shows that the company behind it is Stainesbridge Pte Ltd which develops solutions that focuses on aviation, medtech, real estate and tourism.

Lifting off soon

There’s no exact date when Ballons du Monde will be opening the rides to the public except they are saying very soon.

It’s also not clear if it will be a low altitude tethered ride or a full-on balloon ride in the air, although we are guessing it’s very likely the former due to safety concerns and strict aviation regulations.

There’s also a quick video of the hot air balloon in mid-air.

Popular Facebook page Singapore Atrium Sale had also spotted them testing it last Saturday.
